Germany – Construction work for pipelines, communication and power lines – Ausführungsleistung Leitungsumverlegung (LUV) Bund

The measure includes construction work for the relocation or new installation of operational infrastructure media to create construction-free areas on existing airport surfaces. As part of this project, the existing supply and disposal systems will be relocated from the areas of the future construction site. The areas are located in the northern part of BER Airport, in close proximity to the existing operational areas of Ramp 3 with Terminal 5. The construction site is essentially on the areas of the former SXF Airport. Since the function of the supply and disposal systems must remain operational during the construction measure, the project must be realised while operations are ongoing and the necessary operationally relevant processes are maintained. The following infrastructure media are to be relocated or newly installed: • Rainwater, • Wastewater, • Drinking water, incl. firewater storage, • Electrical systems, • Medium and low voltage systems, lighting systems, • Telecommunications and communications systems (ICT). In addition, road construction measures as well as the opening and restoration of operational areas are part of the planned construction measure.
