The property is located in a residential area in the northern part of Kaufbeuren. In the immediate vicinity, there is a secondary school that, with a sports field, borders the construction site to the west. To the south, the property borders a church; otherwise, access roads run directly along the boundaries of the property. The construction site is directly accessible from the Marktgrafenstraße via a construction road. After completion of the new building in the first construction phase, the second construction phase involves the energy renovation of the existing building. The work on various components primarily includes the refurbishment of the exterior envelope and the renovation of the classrooms in the interior.
