Czechia – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – Mateřská škola Rudná

The subject of the competition is the preparation of an architectural design for a new kindergarten building in Rudná in the Prague-West district, which will gradually replace the existing inadequate buildings in the kindergarten complex in Ke Školce Street. The design will create a modern, long-term sustainable and inclusive educational environment for preschool children, including children with special educational needs (SEN). The new kindergarten will be designed for a total capacity of 8 classes (including 2 smaller classes intended mainly for children with SEN) with a capacity of 200 children and a focus on operational and capacity flexibility. The design will also include a pool for preschool and school swimming lessons and organised courses. The subject of the competition is also the conceptual assessment of the possibility of locating municipal rental housing units in a separate construction phase.
