The Geothermie Gräfelfing GmbH & Co. KG (GGK) plans to construct a deep geothermal plant for municipal heat supply. The Malm reservoir will be tapped for heat supply. As part of this plan, a deep geothermal plant and an associated district heating network with redundancy and peak load heating plant will be planned, constructed, and operated. In this context, the drilling of four geothermal deep wells (two doublets, each with one production well and one injection well) from a central drilling site and the construction of a technical building are planned. One of the two doublets will serve as an independent redundancy and peak load supply to ensure 100% CO2-free heat supply.
