One of the aftercare activities for closed landfills is monitoring the quality of groundwater. Monitoring is required at 10 locations and is mostly an annual activity. Since this is a periodic recurring activity, a clustering of groundwater monitoring at 10 locations has been chosen for a period of 6 years (2027, 2028, 2029, 2030, 2031 and 2032). The contract also includes the periodic execution of several other aftercare activities, such as monitoring rainwater or surface water and measuring/leveling groundwater levels. An annual report is compiled for each location.
