TenneT's main tasks include the expansion and maintenance of the power grid, the integration of renewable energies, and the assurance of grid stability. TenneT's network area covers large parts of Germany and the Netherlands and includes both onshore and offshore connections. Furthermore, the protection of critical infrastructure plays a central role in ensuring the security and reliability of the power grid. This tender concerns the protection of substations. The aim of the tender is to conclude framework agreements as well as service contracts. The tender provides for a lot-by-lot award, with Lot 1 covering intrusion detection technology and connection to the alarm fence, and Lot 2 covering intrusion detection technology, connection to the alarm fence and video surveillance systems.
