The City of Hürth intends to carry out an extension and energy renovation on the property of the Albert-Schweitzer-Gymnasium at Sudetenstraße 37, 50354 Hürth - Hermülheim, district of Hermülheim, cadastral area 10, plot 87. The main building to be renovated was constructed in 1975. The focus of the energy renovation is the renovation of the windows and doors, the facade, and the roof. On the ground floor, in the area of the current library (building section B), an extension with an area of approximately 420 m2 NUF is to be constructed. Both structural and energy aspects are to be considered in the renovation of the building envelope. The works will be carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations, in particular the Building Energy Act (GEG), and the technical rules for construction and thermal insulation.
