Germany – Architectural services for buildings – BAL201001/2027 Dach- und energetische Sanierung Gebäude C und D, Philipp-Matthäus-Hahn-Schule

The planning services include roof and energy renovation of the Philipp-Matthäus-Hahn-Schule in Balingen. The buildings C and D, which are to be renovated, were constructed in the years 1978/1979. The two interconnected buildings have a usable area of more than 6,000 m² and primarily house workshops and classrooms. They are single-story, have no basement, and were constructed using solid construction with reinforced concrete structure, flat roofs, and shed roof elements. A two-story timber storage room with a shallow pitched sheet metal roof was added to building C in 2005. The construction measure is to be carried out during ongoing school operations. Therefore, as far as possible, dirty and noisy work should be scheduled during school holidays or afternoons when there is no teaching.
