The municipality of Renquishausen plans the construction of a new 4-group kindergarten in the town centre, adjacent to the community centre. Within the community centre, former school rooms will no longer be needed and are available for the expansion of the fire department and for use by the new kindergarten. The connection of the existing structure and the expansion will provide users with a modern kindergarten and synergies with the existing uses. Following a completed VgV negotiation procedure with a participation competition and solution proposal, the building design and the external facilities have already been awarded. The aim of the municipality of Renquishausen is to build a 4-group kindergarten that meets current educational standards as a hybrid timber building. The site is located in a topographically challenging hillside within the town. The two-storey new building uses the height development for ground-level access to both floors. The new building connects via a single-storey intermediate building with a roof terrace to the existing community hall.
