At Am Querkamp, south of the Brüder-Grimm-Schule, a youth, children and family community centre is to be realized. It will accommodate a mixed use of community, group and multi-purpose rooms as well as offices for the operators. The planned building comprises two full storeys and an attic storey and is not basemented. It will be constructed using a timber frame with a massive building core and will receive a purlin roof with extensive greening and a PV system. Access to the construction site will be via the public road Querkamp. Due to a large, preserved tree stock in the front area of the building plot, the construction site set-up area is very restricted. Part of the adjacent school car park to the north can be accessed with small lorries. A temporary loading bay will be created parallel to the road on the building plot, which can be used for loading and unloading with a crane.
