The two projects are part of the Hamburg-Lübeck general renovation. They involve the structural and technical renovation of the reception buildings, explicitly excluding the transport stations. All trades are involved in extensive measures. The planning and execution must be closely coordinated with the parallel projects of the transport stations and tracks, as all work on the corridor must be carried out during the same closure period. Additionally, variants for the production of rentability and the feasibility of PV systems must be examined. The EG Ahrensburg is also protected as a historic monument.
