The motorway A1, also known as the "Hansalinie", runs from Oldenburg in Holstein to Saarbrücken and connects the Ruhr area to the North German ports of Bremen, Hamburg and Lübeck, as well as handling tourist traffic to the North and Baltic Seas. The section of the road under consideration here begins at the Groß Ippener junction and ends at the Wildeshausen-Nord junction of the Hamburg direction of travel. The section to be renewed, from the Groß Ippener junction (Operational km 127.600) to the Wildeshausen Nord junction (Operational km 140.624), is located in the section of the 35.2 km long 6-lane expansion of the A1 between AD Stuhr and AD Ahlhorner Heide. The road surface renewal to be carried out as part of this maintenance measure is to remain in place as part of the 6-lane expansion, so that only one hard shoulder needs to be added. The section to be renewed between the Groß Ippener junction and the Wildeshausen-Nord junction has been divided into 2 construction sections. Section TBA 1 from km 137.500 to km 140.624 and TBA 2 from km 127.585 to km 134.000. Construction for TBA 1 began in early April 2024. This tender concerns the on-site construction supervision of TBA 2, with construction of this section scheduled to begin in early 2027.
