Description

Within the framework of the project for the modernisation and enhancement of the C2 capacity of the Land Forces, there is a need to acquire radio systems with SDR technology capable of operating in joint/inter-agency and coalition operations through the most recent NATO Stanags. To this end, the Italian Army has identified the need to provide land and logistic support units with the capability to implement reliable and high-performing HF radio links. Therefore, it is necessary to acquire technologically advanced telecommunications systems that meet the following requirements: • robustness and reliability, as key elements for military radios; • interoperability; • scalability; • ease of use, through the availability of a user-friendly user interface together with intuitive procedures for selecting operating modes; • longevity, i.e. ensuring the best performance achievable at the time, for as long as possible (so-called adherence to the technological frontier). The contract is composed of a SINGLE LOT of supply, including: 1) Supply of 3 HF units and 2 operator courses - CPV 32000000-3 (Broadcasting equipment) - Estimated contract value (VAT excluded): € 562,380.00; 2) Supply of 2 HF units - CPV 32000000-3 (Broadcasting equipment) - Estimated contract value (VAT excluded): € 370,800.00; 3) Supply of 2 HF units - CPV 32000000-3 (Broadcasting equipment) - Estimated contract value (VAT excluded): € 370,800.00. Therefore, the total estimated contract value, net of VAT and/or other taxes and legal contributions, is € 1,303,980.00.
