The Monheimer Wohnen GmbH plans to construct a new residential and commercial building as part of the overall ensemble along the Ingeborg-Friebe-Platz, which is being developed in cooperation with the City of Monheim am Rhein and the Baumberger Einkaufzentren GmbH. The approximately 795 sq.m. construction site is located in the city centre of Monheim directly at the Ingeborg-Friebe-Platz opposite the bus station and is a key component of the ongoing restructuring and redevelopment concept "Mitte Monheim". The core of the ongoing redevelopment is a densified commercial use of the ground floor areas while simultaneously optimising the urban design of the central area.
