Denmark – Construction work – Transformerstation til Kalundborg Forsyning, Udvidelse af Renseanlæg (F1.EL.01)

Kalundborg Central Wastewater Treatment Plant (hereafter "KCR") is to be expanded as a consequence of industry in Kalundborg Municipality increasing its discharge in the coming years. The expansion of KCR (hereafter "the Project") will increase the biological capacity of the plant, improve overflow control, provide new sludge handling and removal of environmentally harmful substances through third and fourth treatment stages. The Project will be realised through a series of tenders within construction and installation, machinery and electrical, system suppliers and SRO. Kalundborg Renseanlæg A/S ("the Contracting Authority") has entered into a total consulting agreement with Envidan A/S, which is responsible for technical consulting and assistance, design, construction management and process specialist consulting in connection with the realisation of the Project. This tender includes a main enterprise contract, which in broad terms involves the execution of the following works:

- New power supply to new main distribution electrical panel from 10 kV ring connection

- New transformer station, incl. complete technical building

- Main distribution panel

- Earthing system

The machinery and electrical works related to realising the process lines are tendered in a separate tender. In addition to the price of the fixed services associated with realising the contract, tenderers must quote a price for the following option:

- Tender list item 4.8: Option: Service for new power supply

In addition, tenderers must price variable services in the tender list, including regulation prices, which will be used to the extent that there is a need for them. The Contracting Authority has considered whether the procurement can be further divided, but assesses that a further division will entail a number of impractical technical and legal interfaces with the consequent risk of obstacles in the execution phase as well as derived transaction costs.
