Albania – Supporting services for the government – Technical Assistance in support of Chapter 22 and Cohesion Policy in Albania

In the context of the Republic of Albania’s preparations for accession to the European Union, technical assistance is necessary to support beneficiary institutions in meeting the requirements of Chapter 22 and preparing for the effective management of EU Cohesion Policy after accession. This technical assistance will support the relevant Albanian Authorities. The assistance will focus on the timely fulfillment of the Chapter 22 Closing Benchmarks while also supporting, through a strategically forward-looking approach, the implementation of other measures set out in the Chapter 22 Action Plan. It will include measures aimed at strengthening the institutional, administrative, and strategic capacities required for the future management and implementation of EU Cohesion Policy.
