Germany – Research and development consultancy services – Projektträgerschaft für das Bundesministerium für Forschung, Technologie und Raumfahrt (BMFTR) im Bereich Kommunikationstechnologien und Cybersicherheit

The aim of the tender is to appoint a project management agency to support the responsible specialist department of the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Spaceflight (BMFTR). It is to help plan, implement and monitor funding tasks in the areas of communications technologies and cybersecurity. The support includes, in particular, the following tasks:

• Specialist and administrative support for the specialist department in all phases of project funding (from advising interested parties and applicants, through examining applications including assessment by expert committees, support during the project period, to verification of use in accordance with the project funding handbook),

• Further development of funding measures (from analysing research and development in the field of communications technologies and cybersecurity and assessing research policy and scientific findings to producing specialist evaluations and conceptual input for funding announcements),

• Involvement in the programme development of the two follow-up programmes, which will be published in the first half of 2027 and

• Implementation of innovation-supporting measures for specialist communication, for recruiting young talent and for building and expanding networks with partners from science, industry and politics and for creating favourable conditions on a national and European level.
