Poland – Public-service buses – Zakup autobusów typu MAXI zasilanych sprężonym gazem CNG dla MPK Spółka z o.o. w Nowym Sączu.

The subject of the order is the purchase of 18 MAXI type buses powered by compressed natural gas (CNG) meeting the EURO 6 emission standard for MPK Spółka z o.o. in Nowy Sącz.

II. The buses should be delivered to the bus depot at ul. Wyspiańskiego 22 in Nowy Sącz. The delivered buses, which are the subject of the order, must meet the following requirements:

1. be factory new (according to the definition in the Act of 20 June 1997 on Road Traffic (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1251 as amended));

2. have a current vehicle type approval certificate issued in accordance with the Act of 14 April 2023 on vehicle and equipment homologation systems (Journal of Laws 2023, item 919 as amended);

3. comply with the technical and operational parameters specified in the relevant regulations set out in the Ordinance of the Minister of Infrastructure on the technical conditions of vehicles and the scope of their necessary equipment (Journal of Laws 2024, item 502);

4. have the following basic dimensions and parameters:

a) length: 11.5 m – 12.5 m;

b) width: max 2.55 m;

c) height: max 3.4 m.

5. be manufactured using technical and craft knowledge achievements that ensure trouble-free operation with minimal current maintenance effort; proven and approved materials must be used for production;

6. be adapted to the needs of all users, including being accessible to people with disabilities;

7. be adapted to function in varied climatic conditions, ensuring their reliability in the face of increasingly frequent extreme weather events;

8. meet the requirements of "ecologically clean vehicles" within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2019/1161 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 June 2019 amending Directive 2009/33/EC on the promotion of clean and energy-efficient road transport vehicles (Official Journal of the European Union L No 188, p. 116).
