The city of Kempten (Allgäu) plans to redesign the Bahnhofplatz in Kempten. Kempten main station, with Bahnhofplatz and parking, is located in the south of the city of Kempten on the Mittlerer Ring and was connected to Kempten's city ring with parking spaces, bus stops and a taxi rank in the 1960s. The immediate forecourt area is now to be transformed into an attractive public urban space, taking into account all functional and traffic requirements. The commissioning of the overall planning will take place directly after the negotiated procedure. Initially, performance phases 1 to 2 will be commissioned. Subsequently, performance phases 3 to 9 will probably be commissioned step by step and, if necessary, in construction sections to maintain ongoing operations. There is no entitlement to the commissioning of all performance phases. The commissioning also includes Special Services. In the negotiated procedure, solution proposals will be requested from the bidders. All bidders who submit a compliant offer and a compliant solution proposal but do not receive the order will be granted compensation for the solution proposal in the amount of 32,500 € including VAT. The gross construction costs for the overall construction measure of cost groups 100 to 700 are currently estimated at approximately 9.0 million €. The commissioning of performance level 1 is to take place in October 2026. The completion of the measure is to take place at the end of 2029.
