Czechia – Insurance services – Pojištění majetku a odpovědnosti a pojištění vozidel

The subject of this public contract is the provision of services consisting of: a) Property and liability insurance (hereinafter referred to as “Property and Liability Insurance”). The subject matter includes, in particular, insurance of immovable and movable property, and insurance of liability for damage or other loss; b) Insurance of liability for damage caused by the operation of a motor vehicle (compulsory insurance) and comprehensive vehicle insurance (hereinafter referred to as “Compulsory Insurance and Comprehensive Insurance”). The liability insurance relates to the contracting authority and further to its contributory organisations listed in Annex No. 8 – List of Co-insured Entities. These entities are insured under the same conditions as the contracting authority for the entire duration of the insurance contract, i.e. from its very beginning. The property insurance of contributory organisations and other co-insured entities will be included in the insurance gradually during the first year of the insurance contract, and that in connection with the termination of the existing insurance contracts of these organisations, as stated in Annex No. 7 ZD. The public contract is, in accordance with the provision of § 35 ZZVZ, divided into two parts, namely: a) Property and Liability Insurance – 1st part; b) Compulsory Insurance and Comprehensive Insurance – 2nd part. The subject of insurance will be secured by concluding insurance contracts for a period of 48 months with the possibility of automatic prolongation, for each part of the public contract separately. The contracting authority reserves the right to extend the duration of the contract, and that even repeatedly, on the condition of maintaining the agreed commercial conditions, in particular prices and granted discounts.
