Poland – Works related to water-distribution pipelines – Kontrakt W-4/R „Rozbudowa i modernizacja sieci wodociągowej na terenie miasta Torunia”

The subject of the contract is the execution of works included in Contract W-4/R "Expansion and modernisation of the water supply network in the city of Toruń". The contract covers 15 tasks related to the construction, reconstruction and replacement of water supply networks in the city of Toruń, including the scope indicated in the OPZ, also connections. The works will be carried out in accordance with the Contractual Conditions for Construction for engineering and construction works designed by the Employer, fourth edition English-Polish unchanged 2008, translation of the first English original published in 1999 by the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (Fédération Internationale des Ingénieurs-Conseils – FIDIC). The scope includes, in particular, works related to water supply networks in the streets: Grota-Roweckiego, Rudackiej, Łódzkiej, Witkowskiego, Trasa Prezydenta Raczkiewicza, Grudziądzkiej, Storczykowej, PCK, Rydygiera, Mocarskiego, Łyskowskiego, Filomatów Pomorskich, Leśnej, Gałczyńskiego, Gagarina, Sczanieckiego, Jeśmanowicza, Kościuszki, Łąkowej, Wojska Polskiego, Warneńczyka and Bażyńskich. Additionally, the Contractor is obliged to carry out temporary and ancillary works necessary for the implementation of the main works, as well as required tests and inspections of the network and connections, their flushing and disinfection, water quality tests and checking the fittings and operating parameters of the network, in accordance with the OPZ. The detailed description of the subject of the contract is contained in Annex No. 1 to SWZ – Description of the Subject of the Contract (OPZ) together with the design documentation. The binding scope of the Contractor's services is defined by the Design Documentation, Technical Specifications and other Contract Documents, with the reservation of the provisions of the OPZ regarding the scope of individual tasks. The Contractor is obliged to implement the order on the principles and conditions specified in the template Agreement constituting Annex No. 2 to SWZ.
