Hamburg University (hereinafter "UHH") is an excellence university with more than 43,000 students and approximately 6,000 employees, one of the most research-intensive universities in Germany and at the same time one of the largest educational institutions in Northern Germany. With its concept of the "Flagship University" in the Hamburg metropolitan region, it maintains innovative and cooperative links with scientific and non-scientific partners. It produces the future-oriented social goods of education, knowledge, and exchange of knowledge for the location – but also nationally and internationally – under the guiding principle of sustainability. The aim of the procedure is to acquire a high-performance service provider for the performance of (regular) moving services for Hamburg University. Moves of varying sizes are continuously necessary at the university. Moves can take several days, as well as several small moves in one day. In general, a customary, appropriate planning lead time is granted. In individual cases, however, moves can also occur very short-term within 24 hours. The services include moves and, in some cases, the disposal of the room equipment of the rooms used by the UHH as well as laboratory equipment, laboratory equipment, workshops, collections, IT equipment including the proper de- and recabling and media technology. The services include all coordination services and agreements that are necessary for a smooth move. In addition to the moving and transport services that occur continuously in day-to-day business (non-binding estimate of order value approx. 420,000 € net p.a.), large and special moves that become necessary according to the completion of new buildings or newly rented areas are also carried out. The tasks to be taken over by the service provider essentially comprise in each case: Moving services, Coordination services, Bulky waste disposal and, in some cases, on request, services for furniture planning. The place of performance is Hamburg. It is expected overall that the contractor will meet the scope and demands of the required services both logistically and in terms of personnel. This includes, in particular, the requirement that a fixed team of two fixed employees (site supervision + truck driver) will be available for cooperation.
