The concession in question consists of the supply, installation, maintenance and operation of: • bus shelter infrastructure; • city map signs (divided into ‘traditional models’ with posters on the one hand and, at specific locations, ‘digital variants’ on the other hand); • poster columns. Hereinafter referred to as ‘street furniture’, on the public domain of the city of Brugge. The concessionaire obtains, within the framework of this Concession Guideline, the exclusive right to operate, and therefore also the operating risk, of this street furniture on the territory of Brugge. The concessionaire provides for the installation, maintenance and repair of this street furniture. The concessionaire may not use existing street furniture. The concessionaire adjusts the number and locations of the street furniture during the term of the concession at the request of the contracting authority. The street furniture to be installed must be new and meet all the imposed standards and quality requirements. The concessionaire is also responsible for the necessary removals of the street furniture within a reasonable time frame when the contracting authority instructs it to do so (e.g. at the end of the concession, during the execution of works, during reviews of services provided by e.g. De Lijn,…).
