Preparation and implementation of the 2028 and 2032 surveys on the social and economic situation of students (SSEE). The number of persons to be contacted as part of the survey ranges from 23,000 (BFS gross sample) to 53,000 (with maximum top-up by the higher education institutions) persons. The SSEE includes options for expansion by an additional partner questionnaire module as well as for topping up the BFS gross sample size by higher education institutions (maximum 30,000 additional persons to be contacted). The survey will be conducted using a CAWI questionnaire. The questionnaire, which must be programmed in four languages (French, German, Italian and English), comprises approximately 550 variables (which corresponds to approximately 120 questions). Participants will be contacted both in the invitation and in the reminders by mail and e-mail.
