The South Savo Wellbeing Services County Eloisa is procuring one (1) surgical microscope for the Savonlinna unit for ophthalmic surgery use, and optionally one (1) surgical microscope for the wellbeing services county. The procurement package includes delivery of the device, installation and commissioning services; use and maintenance training, possible services supporting use (device repair and maintenance services); essential device-related consumables and spare parts for the use of the device, as well as the options presented in the tender documents. The operations of the eye unit are divided into outpatient and examination activities, as well as day surgery operations. Cataract surgery is performed year-round at the eye unit. Approximately 800 - 1,000 eyes are operated on annually. The unit also trains new cataract surgeons. Since new cataract surgeons are trained at the unit, the microscope to be procured must be suitable for teaching purposes. The aim of the procurement is to acquire a reliable and long-lasting device package that supports ophthalmic surgical operations throughout the device's lifespan. The procurement includes an option to procure one (1) corresponding device, which is available to the purchaser until the end of 2027, as well as other options mentioned in the procurement documents, which are available to the purchaser for two (2) years from the signing of the procurement contract. The contract remains in force after the delivery of the device for spare parts, consumables, possible software, software support, security updates, technical support, maintenance services and other lifecycle support services related to the delivered device or devices. This also applies to a possible optional device. The offered package must include all the software, licenses, accessories, commissioning services, user instructions, training and other parts required for normal clinical use of the device, regardless of whether they are specifically listed in the procurement documents. The supplier must offer the entire package. Partial bids are not accepted. All parts must be offered. Parallel bids are accepted. Alternative bids are not accepted.
