The awarded contract comprises 2 sub-contracts, and a single contract is entered into with one supplier. Sub-contract 1 includes ticket inspection on the Aarhus Light Rail and buses in Aarhus with the performance of 12,500 inspections on the Aarhus Light Rail and 66,250 inspections on buses in Aarhus annually. Sub-contract 2 includes ticket inspection on buses outside Aarhus with the performance of 23,800 inspections annually, as well as quality inspections on buses in the entire Midttrafik area with the performance of 6,000 inspections annually. The contract is an untime-limited contract, where both parties have the possibility to terminate the contract with a minimum of 6 months' notice for Midttrafik's part and 18 months' notice for the supplier's part. The contract can, however, be terminated at the earliest on 31.12.2031. The contract therefore runs until one of the parties terminates it. There is a requirement for the transfer of the business of the employees (currently 17) who currently perform ticket inspection on buses in Aarhus.
