The subject of the tender is the award of design, planning, procurement, manufacture, transport, delivery, installation checks, commissioning supervision, test operation and acceptance of remote heating heat exchangers for the new heat transfer station. Description: The Zweckverband Abfallverwertung Südhessen (ZAS) is responsible for disposing of the residual waste remaining after avoidance and recovery from household waste, bulky waste and similar commercial waste for the municipalities of the City of Darmstadt, Darmstadt-Dieburg district, Odenwaldkreis and its cooperation partners. For this purpose, the ZAS owns and operates the Darmstadt Waste-to-Energy Plant (MHKW). The operational management is carried out by ENTEGA AG. The waste incineration of the MHKW Darmstadt consisted of three incineration lines, Lines 1, 2 and 3, with an approved annual throughput capacity of 238,280 Mg/a until the start of the conversion project. The ZAS is currently implementing the conversion and modernization of the MHKW Darmstadt. The construction of the new waste incineration Line 4 and the new Line 5 is taking place in two construction phases. As part of construction phase 1, waste incineration Line 2 has already been dismantled. This has been replaced on the same site by a larger waste incineration Line 4. As part of construction phase 2, it is planned to dismantle waste incineration Line 1 and to install a Line 5 with sewage sludge mono-treatment (KSMB) and with KS ash conditioning at the site of Line 1 and to couple the KSMB process-technically with the boiler of Line 4.
