Germany – Environmental services – Habitatoptimierung an Fundorten des Frauenschuh (Cypripedium calceolus) im Saale-Unstrut-Gebiet Sachsen-Anhalts

Lot 1: The project serves to preserve the lady's slipper orchid on seven semi-dry grassland areas in the Burgenlandkreis district (Sachsen-Anhalt). The 7 sub-areas have a total size of 17,837 m² and are located in the same region (maximum distance: approximately 10 km as the crow flies). The services include: - initial clearing and mowing (only on area No. 23) - annual maintenance mowing (on all 7 areas) - thorough and complete clearing of the areas as well as proper disposal or utilisation

Lot 2: The project serves to preserve the lady's slipper orchid on 25 woodland areas in the Burgenlandkreis district (Sachsen-Anhalt). The 25 sub-areas have a total size of 31,251 m² and are located in the same region (maximum distance: approximately 10 km as the crow flies). The services include for each individual sub-area a motor-manual, close-to-the-ground cutting back of the shrub layer in the forest (maximum height varies).
