Germany – Winches for use underground – Ersatzbeschaffung einer Mobilen Schachtwinde (MSW)

The Federal Republic of Germany, represented by the Federal Ministry for Environment, Climate Protection, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMUKN), has transferred the performance of federal tasks pursuant to Section 9a Paragraph 3 Sentence 1 of the Atomic Energy Act (AtG) for the construction, operation and decommissioning of facilities for the disposal of radioactive waste to the Federal Company for Radioactive Waste Disposal (BGE). In this capacity, the BGE awards work for and within the framework of the construction of a repository in the former iron ore mine Konrad. To comply with legal requirements, to carry out repair work and to inspect shafts, a mobile shaft winding equipment (MSW) is to be procured. The contractor will plan, manufacture and deliver a new MSW as part of the contract. In addition, the contractor will prepare approval-relevant documents and release them as part of a preliminary examination by a mining-approved expert. A test operation and comprehensive documentation in accordance with the client's specifications are also part of the services to be provided. All processes will be accompanied by the client's quality assurance. -------- The MSW must be designed in such a way that transport to the respective site of use can be carried out without restrictions on its own wheels and without special permit(s), as well as without towing and escort vehicles via public road traffic within the framework of the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO).
