Spain – Lifts – Suministro e instalación para la sustitución de dos ascensores en las Oficinas Centrales de la MCT.

The works to be carried out by the contractor under this contract will consist, in general, of the following:

• Manufacture, supply, installation and commissioning of the new lifting apparatus, reusing the same shafts where the old equipment was located.

• Division of the current shaft (common to both elevators) by supplying and installing fire-resistant plasterboard partitioning, creating a physical separation between the moving parts of both units throughout their travel to ensure safety and compliance with current regulations.

• Dismantling of the existing lifting equipment.

• All auxiliary works necessary for the safe replacement of the requested equipment, as well as to provide accessibility from the same to the 7th floor of the building, which are described in the Particular Technical Prescription Document.

• Drafting of the technical project of the installation, reports and management of the licenses that may be required for the legalization of the installations, costs and taxes that this may entail, in its case, initial technical inspection of the accredited body. Execution of the works. The taxes and duties derived from such legalization licenses will be the responsibility of the contractor.

• Delivery to the Representative of the Administration of a copy with all the documentation and information required in Article 3 of the “RD355/2024, of 2 April, which approves the Supplementary Technical Instruction ITC AEM 1 'Lifts', which regulates the commissioning, modification, maintenance and inspection of lifts, as well as the increase in the safety of the existing lift park”.

• Maintenance of the equipment for a period of 3 years and 24-hour service, in case of rescue, overlapping, in turn, with the guarantee coverage period of a minimum of 2 years. Maintenance in accordance with the description in the Particular Technical Prescription Document.

• Transfer and delivery of the construction waste, supply and installation to the "authorized waste manager". In view of the above, there is a need to carry out the “CONTRACT FOR THE SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF TWO LIFTS IN THE CENTRAL OFFICES OF THE MCT”.
