This contract concerns the renovation of the large kitchen and restaurant in building R007, Het Meeuwennest, at Complex Nieuwe Haven, Den Helder. The building has not been in use since 2024 due to various technical and structural deficiencies. It has been decided to renovate it to ensure it can be functionally used for a maximum of fifteen more years. The works aim to restore the usability, improve safety, and ensure hygiene, with sustainability measures included where possible. The kitchen layout and all technical installations will be completely replaced and reinstalled according to the principles of the Programma Aanpak Grootkeukens. Only electrical cooking facilities will be used, and the installations will be adapted to current standards. Structurally, the kitchen area will be completely renewed, and the entrance area, sanitary facilities, and finishes will also be modernised. Area: approximately 4049 m2 bvo.
