Oulun vesi -liikelaitos (hereinafter also "Hankintayksikkö") invites tenders for the main contract for the expansion of the new surface water treatment plant to be built in Hintta, in accordance with the tender notice and its appendices, using a competitive dialogue procedure. The subject of the procurement is the main contract for the expansion of the new surface water treatment plant to be built in Hintta. The objective of the procurement is to ensure the sufficiency of Oulun kaupungin's economy water and the operational reliability of water supply, and to enable the basic renovation of the current water treatment plant. The contract type is a turnkey contract. The expansion project of the Hintta surface water treatment plant includes, according to the plans, the construction of the surface water treatment plant as a turnkey contract. The surface water treatment plant will be built as a turnkey contract, ready for use. The expansion project of the surface water treatment plant includes the construction of the water treatment building, underground tunnel and low-level reservoir building. Gross floor area: approx. 12 000 m². The contract includes, among other things, exceptionally demanding earth and foundation works, watertight tank and concrete structures, process and building engineering, piping and the construction of the connecting tunnel. The new plant complex will be built next to the existing surface water treatment plant. In addition, additional work that becomes apparent during the execution of the work may be the subject of the procurement. The automation contract related to the project will be procured separately, and the said contract will be subject to the main contract, which is the subject of this invitation to tender. The works subject to the procurement are scheduled to commence in mid-March 2027, and the plant must be ready for commissioning by the end of 2029. The plant must be in use and delivered by 30.6.2030. The language of the procurement and the project is Finnish. Excellent Finnish language skills are required from the persons offering for the project.
