Germany – Police station construction work – Anmietung einer neuen Polizeiwache Bottrop

The Recklinghausen Police Headquarters (hereinafter: Contracting Authority) intends to lease a new property for the Bottrop police station, including detention facilities, office space for management and case processing, interrogation, storage, and meeting rooms within the city limits of Bottrop. To this end, an investor is to plan and construct or renovate and adapt areas according to the specifications and requirements of the Contracting Authority and, based on a long-term lease agreement, make them available to the Contracting Authority for use, presumably from 01.07.2031. The lease agreement is to provide for a term of 15 years and an optional extension of 5 years by the Contracting Authority. The new property must meet the Contracting Authority's space and area requirements, as well as its functional, qualitative, and economic requirements. The project can be realised either by renovating, refurbishing, and modernising an existing property, adapting a property already under construction, or by planning and constructing a new property, each of which must be specifically tailored to the needs of the Contracting Authority. The building is to be used by the Contracting Authority alone as far as possible. While sole use of the building is desirable, it is not mandatory. For example, shared use with another authority is conceivable. In the event of shared use of the property or building with other users, it must be ensured in any case that the Contracting Authority is accommodated in a self-contained, separately developed part of the building and that the Contracting Authority's usable areas are contiguous.
