Poland – Collection, transport and disposal of hospital waste – Usługa gromadzenia, odbioru, transportu i utylizacji odpadów medycznych wraz z dzierżawą kontenera – chłodni

The subject of the contract is the provision of a service involving the collection, reception, transport and disposal of medical waste, along with the lease of a refrigerated container for a period of 12 months. The contracting authority estimates an average of 18 297,00 kg of medical waste per month, including an average of:

• Group 180102* - Body parts and organs, as well as containers for blood and preservatives used for its storage (excluding 18 01 03) - 0,50 kg;

• Group 180103* Other waste that contains live pathogenic microorganisms or their toxins, as well as other forms capable of transferring genetic material, about which it is known or for which there are credible grounds to assume that they cause diseases in humans and animals (e.g. infected diapers, sanitary pads, bedpans), excluding 18 01 80 and 18 01 82 - 11 500 kg;

• Group 180104 - Other waste than those mentioned in 18 01 03 (e.g. dressings made of material or plaster, bedding, disposable clothing, diapers) - 6 556,25 kg;

• Group 180106* - Chemicals, including chemical reagents, containing hazardous substances – 78,75 kg;

• Group 180108* - Cytotoxic and cytostatic drugs - 76,75 kg;

• Group 180109 - Drugs other than those mentioned in 18 01 08 - 80,75 kg;

• Group 180182* - Remains from the feeding of patients in infectious disease wards – 4 kg;

The quantities of waste are estimated. The contracting authority is not obliged to transfer the specified waste in full as indicated above. The detailed scope of the service is included in the SWZ.
