The contractor will be required to perform the full range of duties of an investment supervision inspector as defined by the provisions of the Act of 7 July 1994, Construction Law. The scope of the objects planned by the Contracting Authority to be executed within MRN3 has been defined in Annex No. 2 to the SWZ. The contractor will be responsible for controlling and providing written opinions within 5 days of the documentation provided by the designer implementing the order for the execution of the design documentation of all elements created in the design process related to the verified and supervised task at each stage, as well as controlling the amendments made in accordance with the instructions; The contractor will be required to actively participate in meetings and consultations organised by the Contracting Authority during the preparation of the design documentation and during the construction works, as well as in financial settlements and controls conducted by the consulting and financing units of the investment and public administration bodies; As part of the supervision of the proper execution of the design documentation, the supervisor will be required to prepare a report within 14 days from the Contracting Authority's submission of the complete design documentation; The contractor should familiarise themselves with the rules and guidelines contained in the “Project Implementation Manual” (Annex No. 1 to the SWZ) in order to correctly verify the design documentation and control the accuracy of the construction works. The Contracting Authority will provide the Manual to the Contractor on the date of the conclusion of the Contract. Before handing over the construction site to the Contractor, the supervisor must familiarise themselves with the design and cost documentation, technical specifications for the execution and acceptance of construction works, the accepted financial and physical schedule, the offer from the Contractor, the contract with the Contractor, as well as the investment site, its equipment and existing hydrotechnical facilities and structures; In the event that defects or inaccuracies are found in the design documentation, before the start of construction or during its implementation, or if changes need to be made to the documentation to apply different structural solutions or different materials than those originally envisaged in the design documentation or to achieve savings and reduce costs, the supervisor should submit a written request to the Contracting Authority to make changes or corrections to the documentation; The supervisor may independently introduce changes to the design documentation after agreeing them with the project author and the construction manager, making the appropriate entry in the construction journal and applying these corrections to the design documentation. These corrections must not lead to an increase in the costs of the supervised construction works and must not have a negative impact on the environment and safety. Details are set out in the SWZ.
