No deadline given

Description

As part of the development of the southern area, also known as "ARTS" in the University City of Aarhus, FEAS Erhverv P/S (hereafter "FEAS") is now tendering construction and civil engineering works for phase 1, which includes the renovation, conversion and new construction of buildings 1751, 1770 and the 1760 complex at Universitetsbyen 38, 8000 Aarhus C – the former Aarhus Municipal Hospital. The project covers an existing area of approximately 8,245 m² (building 1770), approximately 1,609 m² (building 1751) and 2,687 m² (building 1764) including basement, as well as approximately 3,149 m² of new construction, including basement. In addition, there are associated outdoor areas with paving and planting. The buildings previously functioned as wards, administration and hospital pharmacy. The existing building stock (buildings 1770, 1751 and 1764) will be preserved and renovated/transformed to meet new requirements for a modern teaching environment. In addition to the transformation of the existing buildings, two new buildings, named building 1760 and 1762, will be constructed. The buildings will be executed with gable roofs and facades in brick and glass and will be connected to the south facade of building 1764. Building 1760 will be executed partially as a double-height space and 2 storeys, while building 1762 will be executed as 4 storeys plus a basement. Building 1762 will, among other things, contain various types of music rooms and theatre halls, which places high demands on the building's acoustic properties. The buildings will contain teaching facilities for students at the ARTS faculty as well as offices for teaching staff and other administration. ARTS is one of Aarhus University's five faculties and covers humanities, theology, education and social sciences. The faculty of ARTS consists of three institutes – the Danish Institute for Education and Pedagogy (DPU), the Institute for Culture and Society (IKS) and the Institute for Communication and Culture (IKK). These institutes, which are currently located at Kasernen, Tåsingegade and in Nobelparken, will be moved to the southern part of the University City in Aarhus by 2031, creating a unique opportunity to unite the faculty's academic goals with the vision of an open, engaging and inspiring campus area. The execution of AiU phase 1 will take place in 13 separate contracts, including 2 main contracts and 11 specialist contracts. In the present EU tendering process, ten (10) of the total 13 contracts are being tendered, while the remaining contracts will be tendered in another way. FEAS itself is not subject to the tendering rules. Since the leases behind this tender are arranged according to wishes and tailor-made lease descriptions from Aarhus University, these can be considered so-called tailor-made leases. To avoid any doubt as to whether a possible tendering obligation has been fulfilled at Aarhus University, FEAS has undertaken to follow the tendering law and therefore tenders the contracts. The tender material is available in electronic format on RIB Software (Byggeweb) with tender number TN934063A.
