Germany – Public road transport services – Durchführung von Verkehrsleistungen für die VKH im Linienbündel B1/B2

The contracting authority is Verkehrsgesellschaft Kreis Herford GmbH. The contracting authority is a newly established public transport company for local public transport in the district of Herford. The purpose of the company is to provide public transport services (ÖPNV) with buses in the transport area of the district of Herford from 01.08.2026. To fulfil these tasks, VKH is now preparing the setup of the transport services. As part of this tender, VKH is seeking subcontractors to provide transport services for scheduled services in accordance with § 42 PBefG for route bundles B1 and B2 (Lot 1 and Lot 2) from 02.01.2027. The service will be awarded in 2 lots. According to the current planning status, the route bundle has the following transport volumes: Lot 1 B1/B2: 562,340.086 km; Lot 2 B1/B2: 396,976.939 km.
