The subject of the procurement is the delivery and installation of two unique play equipment units (no similar play equipment has been delivered elsewhere) for the City of Lappeenranta. The procured play equipment will be delivered to the port area of Lappeenranta. The theme of the first play equipment is "Horse" and the theme of the second play equipment is "Castle". The equipment must fit, with all their components and fall zones, into the designated spaces as specified in the tender request. The tender request seeks two unique, environmentally friendly play equipment units that cater to different age groups. The play equipment must also be visually compatible with each other. The procurement will be conducted as a reverse auction, i.e., as a French contract. In a reverse auction, the maximum purchase price has been predetermined, so prices are not competitive. This is also where the term fixed-price procurement comes from. Therefore, bidders compete solely on quality factors. The procurement will not be divided into parts. The bidder must offer both play equipment units. The value of the procurement is 280 000 euros (VAT 0%). The contract period will commence as soon as possible after the procurement decision has entered into force. The contract will commence at the earliest when both parties have signed the contract. The contract will remain in force until the play equipment has been delivered, installed, and accepted into use in the locations designated by the client.
