Germany – Financial leasing services – Rahmenvereinbarung über das Leasing von Fahrrädern für die Mitarbeitenden des Landkreises Havelland, der Städte Nauen und Falkensee sowie der Gemeinde Wustermark

Since 2023, the Havelland district, as the contracting authority, as well as the administrations of the cities of Nauen and Falkensee and the municipality of Wustermark, have been offering their employees a bicycle leasing scheme as part of their workplace health promotion, to strengthen their position as attractive employers, and as a contribution to greater sustainability and climate protection. Due to the high demand, employees should also be able to lease bicycles after the current contract period expires. The collective agreement on wage conversion for the purpose of leasing bicycles in the communal public service (TV-Fahrradleasing) of 25 October 2020 provides the legal basis for wage conversion for employees subject to collective bargaining agreements. Section 2 (3) of the Salary Act for the State of Brandenburg (BbgBesG) also provides for the possibility of salary conversion for the purpose of bicycle leasing for civil servants.
