Stadt KreuzlingenSwitzerlandPublished on Nov 01, 2026
No deadline given

Description

The Bodensee-Arena is a significant sports, leisure and events facility in the Kreuzlingen–Konstanz region. The facility, which has existed since 1978 and has been expanded several times, has extensive structural, technical and operational renovation needs. The city of Kreuzlingen plans to renovate the existing facility and enclose the current outdoor ice rink to create a training hall. The existing building substance is to be reused to the extent that it is technically and economically sensible. The implementation will be carried out in stages, taking into account ongoing operations. The investment credit of CHF 26.7 million was approved by the referendum on 28 September 2025. This forms the binding financial ceiling of the overall project. The planning is to be developed consistently according to the Design-to-Cost principle. Within the framework of a selective tendering procedure with pre-qualification (Phase 1) and subsequent offer (Phase 2), a qualified HVAC engineering firm is sought for the HVAC planning including building automation (MSRL) and specialist coordination. The office must cover all the tendered specialist areas and assume overall responsibility for the coordination and integration of the services within the mandate. The mandate includes the services according to SIA 108 for phases 31–53, from project development to commissioning. Particular challenges are the different renovation states of the existing building services, the integration of waste heat utilisation from the refrigeration plant of the ice rink and the coordination of the energy supply and building services in the existing main building and in the new training hall. Economic and energy-efficient solutions are sought that take into account the different uses and operating states and enable staged implementation with as much preservation of ongoing operations as possible. The interfaces with the separately commissioned refrigeration and electrical planning must be ensured.
