The forest management services will be awarded in 2026 (field phase 2027) through the conclusion of a public procurement contract for the Dumbraveni Forest District. The area to be managed in the Dumbraveni Forest District is 8,236.88 ha. The services involve the preparation of the forest management plan, a product of the management activity with technical-organizational content, ecologically based, through which the necessary works to be carried out in a production unit are established, for a period of time, in order to bring and, subsequently, maintain the structural characteristics of the arboreal and forest as a whole to the values corresponding to the optimal structural model defined in accordance with the ecological, social and economic objectives pursued through sustainable management. According to the provisions of Article 63(11) of Law No. 331/2024 on the Forest Code, as amended and supplemented, it is necessary for the preparation of forest management plans to be carried out through public procurement procedures. The management of the state-owned public forest fund constitutes a priority obligation of the administrators of the forest fund. The management of the state-owned public forest fund is regulated by forest management plans. Forest management plans and their modifications are approved by order of the head of the Authority. In the case of state-owned land, the management plans provide the data and information necessary for the registration/updating of these in the centralized inventory of state public domain assets and registration in the integrated cadastral and land register system. Clarification requests made by tenderers during the publicity period of the participation notice may be made with a deadline of no more than 15 days before the deadline for the submission of tenders. The contracting authority will respond to all clarification requests made in accordance with the above deadline, once, in a consolidated manner, 10 days before the deadline for the submission of tenders.
