The subject of the procurement is the total supply of loss and own consumption electricity by VSV Sähköverkko Oy for the period 1.1.2027–31.12.2029 and the related price protection service. The procurement also includes, as an option, the procurement of origin guarantees. The estimated physical delivery of loss and own consumption electricity is approximately 14 GWh per year and approximately 43 GWh for the contract period. The estimated quantity of own consumption electricity is approximately 0.2 GWh per year and approximately 0.6 GWh for the contract period. The reported energy quantities are estimates. The price protection service begins after the signing of the procurement contract, and its purpose is to manage the price risk associated with the procurement of loss and own consumption electricity in accordance with the purchaser's approved protection strategy. The supplier must appoint a responsible portfolio manager for the service, provide the services required in the tender and implement the price protections with the purchaser's approval. The contract is made for a fixed term from 1.1.2027–31.12.2029. The purchaser has the right to extend the contract for one additional two (2) year option period from 1.1.2030–31.12.2031 under the conditions specified in the tender.
