National Forest Administration – Romsilva intends to purchase articulated forestry tractors and periodic technical maintenance services. The acquisition is necessary to increase and modernise the articulated forestry tractor fleet and aims primarily to streamline the skidding process, thereby increasing the capacity to exploit timber, in order to fulfil the obligations imposed by the Forest Code, and secondarily to improve working conditions for the contracting authority's personnel engaged in forestry operations.

Quantity: The contract represents the supply of 20 (twenty) articulated forestry tractors, including periodic technical maintenance services in accordance with the manufacturer's manual for the duration of the contract, up to a maximum of 3000 operating hours (inclusive) and the requested special equipment - chain plates with spikes for each wheel (total 4 pcs/unit). The contracting authority may request an increase in the contract quantity by a maximum of 50%, representing 10 (ten) articulated forestry tractors, 10 pcs. periodic technical services and 40 pcs. special equipment (chain plates with spikes for each wheel), in which case the contract will be extended by an additional 24 months. Thus, the maximum quantity that the contracting authority can procure through the contract to be awarded is 30 articulated forestry tractors, 30 periodic technical services and 120 special equipment (chain plates with spikes for each wheel).
