The Congress Centrum Würzburg (CCW) must be completely renovated, as the building services, which mostly date back to the year of opening 1984, need to be completely replaced. Additionally, structural defects caused by chloride ingress in the concrete components of the underground car park need to be repaired and the appearance of the interior design needs to be modernised. The building includes an event hall for 1,600 persons (1,230 m²) and a conference area with 5 rooms for a total of approximately 310 persons (320 m²) plus corresponding ancillary areas. Gross floor area of the entire building approximately 17,500 m². Gross floor area of the renovation area approximately 5,700 m². Gross floor area of the underground car park approximately 6,800 m².
