Description

The Free Hanseatic City of Bremen intends to award architectural and engineering services for the new construction of a changing room building on the site of the Oeversberg sports facility. The Oeversberg sports facility in Bremen-Grohn is an existing, relatively large sports site used by several sports clubs. In addition to football, which is organised on three large playing fields, the site also has facilities for tennis and BMX sport. The dilapidated changing room wing, mainly used by the football club SV Grohn, is to be replaced by a new building. The structures (containers) for tennis and BMX will remain unaffected. As a result of the needs assessment, the replacement new building of the changing room wing is to be erected at an alternative location. The Oeversberg site has several potential locations for such a new building. The area north of the artificial turf pitch is favoured as the new location. This location is to be further investigated and finalised by the contractor if possible. For this purpose, further coordination with the Bremen-Nord Building Authority is required. A sports campus (e.g. primary school and sports hall) could be developed on the Oeversberg through the reorganisation of the buildings. From a programming point of view, four changing rooms with the corresponding ancillary rooms are to be planned. The two additional changing rooms actually required according to the sports facilities guidelines (three sports fields / six changing units) are to be considered serially. Completion is currently scheduled for mid-2029. The total costs (cost group 200 - 700) of the measure are currently estimated at around 3.3 million euros / gross.
