Czechia – Stadium construction work – Zimní stadion - malá hala

The subject of the public procurement is the construction of a small hall facility, which will serve as a training winter stadium complementing the function of the existing large winter stadium in Olomouc. The proposed building has a columnar structural system, load-bearing columns, beams and roof trusses. These are prefabricated from reinforced concrete above the ancillary areas, with the exception of the large roof trusses above the ice surface, which are steel. The cladding is formed by sandwich panels with a facade - on the gable walls of aluminium lamellae, the side walls are equipped with a facade of corrugated sheet. All facades have strip glazing of various heights. The roofing itself will be formed by trapezoidal sheeting with a hydro-insulation and thermal insulation layer, above the ancillary areas the bearing layer is formed by prefabricated concrete panels and the roof is equipped with a vegetation layer and extensive greenery. A FVE technology (total capacity 22 kWp) will be installed on the roof. The resolved object has a built-up area of 3 946.5 m2 and a built-up space of 54 302 m3. The ridge height of the main mass is + 12.410 m. The ice surface 26×60 m is formed by a cooled reinforced concrete slab, the cooling of the ice surface is direct with brine. The foundation of the object is designed using deep foundation - piling. The construction will include, among other things, the construction of a parking lot with a capacity of 63 parking spaces and a promenade - an area for pedestrians between the existing winter stadium and the newly constructed small hall. Before the start of the construction works, the relocation of the technological canal for cooling the ice surface of the adjacent winter stadium must be carried out. This public procurement will be tendered in a separate tender procedure.
