Czechia – Road construction works – I/45 Nové Heřminovy - Zátor, I. etapa

The subject of the construction is the construction of the I. stage of the I/45 road bypass, which is a first-class road approximately 5.0 km in length in the S 11.5/90 category, connected at both ends to the existing I/45 road. The I/45 road bypass in the section between Nové Heřminovy and the municipality of Zátor is an initiated investment due to the proposal of flood protection measures on the Horní Opava and the Nové Heřminovy Water Reservoir. The existing road will be interrupted after the completion of the water reservoir and will be located in the flooded area. For this reason, it is necessary to relocate the I/45 road above the level of the flooded area of the Nové Heřminovy Reservoir, thus the construction of the I/45 road solves the relocation of the existing I/45 road outside the flooded area of the Nové Heřminovy Water Reservoir. Along the route of the I/45 road bypass, a roundabout is proposed in the municipality of Nové Heřminovy (connection to road III/4581 towards Milotice and local roads), further a level crossing with road III/4583 (towards Čaková), a roundabout in Loučky u Zátoru (connection of the existing communication I/45 and local communication) and a roundabout in the municipality of Zátor (connection of road III/4585 towards Brantice resp. III/45910 towards Lichnov and local communication). Along the route of the I/45 road bypass, several bridge structures will be built and retaining walls will be built in places with deep cuts. Alongside the right-bank service road, retaining walls are proposed. In places where the proposed I/45 road passes through an area with buildings designated for permanent residence, noise protection measures are proposed. The construction will also include the adjustment and connection of lower-class communications that will be affected by the construction of the I/45 road. The works will be carried out according to the project documentation prepared by the consortium “Morava – RD PP for medium-sized contracts BIM 2020”, lead partner SHB a.s. and IČO 25324365.
