Germany – Roof-covering work – Gewerbliche Schulen Donaueschingen, Brandschutztechnische und energetische Sanierung, Gebäude B, Dachdeckerarbeiten mit Oberlichtern

The school campus of the Gewerblichen Schulen Donaueschingen consists of three building sections. Building B, constructed in 1980/81, exhibits age-related defects. The reinforced concrete structure with pre-hung exposed concrete elements and outdated insulation no longer meets today's standards. The main roof of the theory building is a flat roof with skylights and a PV system, which will be renewed. The workshop areas have shed roofs that are impaired by water damage. These will be replaced by a flat roof with PV system and skylights. The exterior envelope has not been comprehensively renovated and no longer meets current energy requirements. The exposed concrete curtain facade will be replaced by a modern wooden facade. The interior renovation focuses on hazardous substance and fire protection, as well as the renewal of electrical engineering, including EDV cabling, LED lighting and KNX control. Scope of work: Roofing work for flat roofs with thermal insulation, roof waterproofing and drainage. Supply and installation of skylights including accessories. Creation of extensive green roofs as well as substructures for photovoltaic systems. Execution of fall protection including all necessary ancillary services.
