Bulgaria – Refuse and waste related services – „Избор на оператор за експлоатация и стопанисване на Регионално депо за неопасни отпадъци за общините Ловеч, Летница и Угърчин, и доставка, монтаж и експлоатация на мобилна инсталация за предварително третиране (сепариране) на смесени битови отпадъци на площадка, част от РДНО-Ловеч“

This public procurement involves the selection of an operator for the operation and management of the "Regional Depot for Non-Hazardous Waste for the Municipalities of Lovech, Letnitsa and Ugarchin", as well as the delivery, installation and operation of a mobile installation for pre-treatment (separation) on a site, part of the RDNO-Lovech. The selection of the operator under the Public Procurement Act is due to specific requirements of the regulatory framework (ZUO, Ordinance No. 6 of 27 August 2013 on the conditions and requirements for the construction and operation of landfills and other facilities and installations for the recovery and disposal of waste), related to the following main activities:

- Acceptance of waste by codes, in accordance with the Integrated Permit KR No. 282-N1/2016 of the Municipality of Lovech for "Regional Depot for Non-Hazardous Waste for the Municipalities of Lovech, Letnitsa and Ugarchin";

- Treatment of waste by codes, in accordance with KR No. 282-N1/2016 – separation of mixed municipal waste, separation of recyclable waste materials (glass, metals, plastic, paper, cardboard);

- Transportation of waste from the mobile pre-treatment installation to Cell No. 3 (in operation);

- Conducting monitoring, in accordance with the conditions of KR No. 282-N1/2016.

The operator/contractor will carry out activities under the Integrated Permit issued to the Municipality of Lovech to ensure conditions for the treatment of up to 25 550 tonnes of waste annually from the Municipalities of Lovech, Letnitsa and Ugarchin.
