Germany – Building extension work – Kultur|Kloster|Kyritz Los N015 Akustikarbeiten (Fugenloses Akustikdeckensystem)

Stadt KyritzGermanyPublished on Jul 22, 2026
Deadline passed

Description

The planned construction project involves the conversion of the former monastery's cloister wing (existing building) into a museum. At the same time, a new building (event venue with connectors) will be constructed next to it. The construction site is located in Kyritz in the monument protection area "Altstadt Kyritz" and the archaeological monument "Altstadt Kyritz". As part of the expansion works, acoustic measures will be required on all ceiling surfaces of the event venue and the connector buildings. In the event venue, the acoustic elements will be mounted directly onto the finished concrete ceilings using adhesive bonding. The arrangement and execution of the elements must be carried out in accordance with the acoustic requirements and the coordinated ceiling layout. In the connector buildings, the acoustic elements will be arranged below the timber frame constructions. The fastening is carried out via a suitable substructure, which is coordinated with the structural conditions of the timber components. In the attic of the event venue, the acoustic elements will be installed within the rafter fields. The work will be carried out so that the existing rafters remain visible and appear as a design element. Particular attention must be paid to the coordination and integration of the acoustic surfaces with the lighting systems. All cut-outs, connections and adaptations for luminaires, light rails and other technical installations must be carried out professionally and integrated into the execution planning.
